NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that David Harwood, of Sandy Lane Nursery, Wattisfield, Diss, Norfolk IP22 1NE, is applying to the Environment Agency to abstract water from underground chalk at National Grid Ref TM 0174 7528, at Sandy Lane Nursery in the parish of Wattisfield in the county of Suffolk. The proposal is to abstract water between January and December each year at the following rates: 9.09 cubic metres per hour, 109.10 cubic metres per day, 18,340 cubic metres per year for spray and trickle irrigation. This application is to renew Licence No 6/33/42/G/120, which expires on 31 December 2005. A copy of the application and of any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the offices of Sandy Lane Nursery, Wattisfield, Diss, Norfolk IP22 1NE, between 2 June 2005 and 1 July 2005. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglia Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE28 4NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
