PROPOSED FREE PARKING PLACES IN JOHNSON STREET, SOUTHALL AND DOUBLE YELLOW LINE WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BALFOUR ROAD AND JOHNSON STREET, SOUTHALL
1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Ealing Council propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be: (a) to introduce three free 24 hour parking places in Johnson Street, Southall, in the locations specified in Schedule 1 to this notice, to provide that the parking places will be for the use of passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, motorcycles and disabled persons vehicles without limitation on time and to provide that the parking places will allow vehicles to park with two wheels on the footway; and (b) to introduce double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at any time in the lengths of Balfour Road and Johnson Street, Southall, specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. 3. The Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Mouchel Parkman Ltd., 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders. 4. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Mouchel Parkman Ltd., 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, quoting Ref 775152/ORD3234/sjc, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. Schedule 1 Johnson Street, Southall: (a) the north side, from a point 8.17 metres east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 8 and 10 Johnson Street, extending westwards for a distance of 57.2 metres; (b) the north side, from a point 9.08 metres west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 20 and 22 Johnson Street, extending westwards for a distance of 47.8 metres; (c) the north side, from a point 4.26 metres west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 40 and 42 Johnson Street, extending westwards for a distance of 49.2 metres. Schedule 2 Balfour Road, Southall, the south-west side, between a point opposite the northern kerbline of Johnson Street and a point 4.6 metres south-east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 88 and 90 Balfour Road. Johnson Street, Southall, the north side: (i) between a point opposite the south-western kerbline of Balfour Road and a point 8.17 metres east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 8 and 10 Johnson Street; (ii) between a point 4.52 metres west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 20 and 22 Johnson Street and a point 9.08 metres west of a point opposite that same common boundary; (iii) between a point 5.25 metres east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 40 and 42 Johnson Street and a point 4.26 metres west of a point opposite that same common boundary; (iv) between a point 3.03 metres west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 62 and 64 Johnson Street and a point 13.36 metres west of a point opposite that same common boundary. 27 May 2005.
