THE HARROW (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005

1. Notice is hereby given that on 23 May 2005 the London Borough of Harrow made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers. 2. The Harrow (Prescribed Route) (No 2) Traffic Order 2005 creates two no entry points as follows: (a) to prohibit vehicles from entering Chestnut Drive from Cannon Lane at the junction north of the island site situated between No 2 Chestnut Drive and No 211 Cannon Lane; and (b) to prohibit vehicles from entering the north-western arm of The Close at is junction with Rayners Lane. 3. The provisions of the Order shall not apply to: (a) any vehicle being used for ambulance, fire bridge or police purposes in an emergency; (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; (c) any person who causes any vehicle to proceed in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed pursuant to section 66 or section 67 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 4. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 30 May 2005, and other documents relating to the Order, are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays at the Urban Living Reception at the address below, until 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. 5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
