NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Mr Michael Lee, Elfordleigh Hotel, Colebrook, of Plympton, Plymouth, Devon PL7 5EB, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from underground strata, at National Grid Ref SW 548 584, at Elfordleigh, Colebrook, Plympton, Plymouth, Devon PL7 5EB. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 2 cubic metres per hour, 42 cubic metres per day, 8,820 cubic metres per year, between April and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation, golf greens and tees. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Elfordleigh Hotel, between 8.00 am and 3.00 pm. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1EB, before the end of the said period.
