TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) ORDER NO 52/  4404

Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order: (  4404) The City of Manchester (Quay Street, City) (Temporary No Waiting and Loading/Unloading) Order 2005. The effect of the Order is to prohibit waiting, loading and Unloading on Quay Street, from Water Street to Quay Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate adjacent building works. It is expected that the works will be in progress between 20 May 2005 and 19 April 2007, at all times. The Order shall come into operation on 20 May 2005 and may remain in force until the Order is revoked. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
