ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A27 TRUNK ROAD (ASHCOMBE ROUNDABOUT, LEWES) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2005

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he made this Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 18 April 2005, coming into force on 3 May 2005, on the A27 Trunk Road in the Borough of Lewes in the County of East Sussex. The notice of the proposal to make it (Ref 114) was published in issue number 57464 of The London Gazette on 12 November 2004 and the effect of the Order is as described in that notice. A copy of the made Order and of a plan illustrating its effect may be inspected during office hours at the offices of Lewes District Council, Lewes House, 32 High Street, Lewes BN7 2LX and the offices of East Sussex County Council, County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1UE. They may also be obtained by application to Traffic Operations Directorate, Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting Ref HA/A27/28/3/140.
