COUNTY OF HEREFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (ROTHERWAS ACCESS ROAD) (SIDE ROADS AND OTHER WORKS) ORDER 2005
THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

Notice is hereby given that the county of Herefordshire District Council has made the (Side Roads and Other Works) Order 2005 under section 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for Transport and if made this Order will authorise the county of Herefordshire in relation to the classified road south of Hereford in the county of Herefordshire to:

(a) improve the lengths of highway named in the Schedules and shown on the corresponding Site Plan by cross hatching;
(b) stop up each length of highway described in the Schedules and shown on the corresponding Site Plan by red zebra hatching;
(c) construct a new highway along each route whose centre line is shown on a Site Plan by an unbroken black line surrounded by stipple;
(d) stop up each private means of access to premises described in the Schedules and shown on the corresponding Site Plan by a solid black band; and
(e) provide new means of access to premises at each location shown on a Site Plan by thin green diagonal hatching.

A copy of the Order and accompanying Site Plan may be inspected, free of charge, at the Council Offices, Info. In Herefordshire, Garrick House, Widemarsh Street, Hereford and at Brockington, 35 Hafod Road, Hereford HR1 1SH.
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Transport at the Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH, before 14 April 2005 and should state the title of the Order, the ground of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
