THE CAMDEN (GOODS VEHICLES) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO  ) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005

Notice is hereby given, that the Council of the London Borough of Camden propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and part 1 of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985, and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be, as part of the second Phase of the Hampstead Review and other minor changes: 1. To introduce two new residents’ parking places in Holford Road at the junction with Cannon Place/Hampstead Square. 2. To introduce “at any time” loading restrictions in Pond Street, except within the new 20-metre-in-length loading bay, located outside Nos 9 and 11 Pond Street. 3. To introduce a new provision for disabled persons’ parking places in Hampstead Hill Gardens (2 spaces), Holly Bush Vale (1 space) and in Rosslyn Hill (3 spaces). 4. To provide additional pay and display parking places in Perrin’s Lane, Holly Bush Vale and Frognal. 5. To provide an additional loading bay in Heath Street, Holly Hill and Fitzjohn’s Avenue. 6. To convert an existing pay and display bay into a loading bay outside No 40 Rosslyn Hill. 7. To provide an additional motorcycle parking place in Chesterford Gardens, Lindfield Gardens, South Hill Park, Nassington Road and Pilgrim’s Lane. 8. To provide additional resident/business parking places in Willow Road and remove two resident spaces outside No 7 Willow Road. 9. To provide additional resident parking spaces outside No 35 Rudall Crescent, No 4 Hampstead Grove, No 71 Frognal, No 30 Chesterford Gardens, Lyndhurst Road, No 23 Arkwright Road, No 1 Willoughby Road, No 35 Frognal. 10. To introduce shared-use (resident/pay and display) parking places in Well Road, Willoughby Road and South End Road. 11. to convert a 25-metre length of double yellow line into single yellow in Heath Street, north of the junction with Lower Terrace. A copy of the proposed Orders, plans showing the location and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, may be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive, at the Environment Department Reception, fifth floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ. Any person wishing to object or make other representations to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and specify the grounds thereof and address it to the Director of Environment Department, Engineering Service, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ, to reach us by 1 April 2005, within a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
