TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make
an Order under section 247 of the above Act which will authorise the stopping-up of
an area of highway of land at Furlong Row, Clanfield, Oxfordshire OX28 2RW.
If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable
the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance
with the full planning permission granted to Martin Norton Architects, by West Oxfordsire
District Council on 23 January 2004, under Ref W2003/1704.
Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected, at all reasonable hours
during the 28 days commencing on 10 March 2005 at the West Oxfordshire District Council,
Elmfield, New Yatt Road, Witney, Oxfordshire OX28 1PB, and may be obtained, free of
charge, from the Transport Team Leader, Government Office for the South East (quoting
Ref GOSE/029/001/OXON/089) at the address below.
During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the
Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/OXON/089 and
addressing their objection to the Transport Team Leader, Government Office for the
South East, First Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. In
the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any
objection may be communicated to the applicant and other peoople who may be affected
by it.
