ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A232 LOCAL ROAD (CROYDON) RED ROUTE (SIDE ROADS) TRAFFIC ORDER 1998 GLA VARIATION ORDER 2005
1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to remove a parking and disabled persons’ vehicle bay on the north-west side of the one way section of Monks Orchard Road and replace it with double red lines, prohibiting parking at any time. 3. The road that would be affected by the Order is the one way section of Monks Orchard Way in the London Borough of Croydon. 4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London—Street Management, Statutory Functions—Traffic Orders, 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1LP, and London Borough of Croydon, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon CR9 3JS 5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Street Management, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL, quoting Ref TASS/AD/SF/TO, GLA/2005/089, to arrive before 18 March 2005. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
