THE HACKNEY LOCAL ROAD (NO 2) RED ROUTE TRAFFIC ORDER 2000 GLA ROAD VARIATION ORDER 2005

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 11 February 2005, it made this Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 18th February 2005. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order is to: (a) alter parking and loading arrangements; (b) increase the length of double red lines, where necessary for buses to gain access to and from bus stops. 3. The road affected by the Order is the A10 Kingsland Road, Kingsland High Street, Stoke Newington Road, Stoke Newington High Street, Stamford Hill, Evering Road, Northwold Road, Rectory Road and Manse Road in the London Borough of Hackney. 4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London, Street Management, Statutory Functions—Traffic Orders, 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1LP; and London Borough of Hackney, Traffic and Transport Department, First Floor Reception, Dorothy Hodgkin House, 12 Reading Lane, London E8 1HJ. 5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
