NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that James Gilmour & Partners, of Wheatmoor Farm, 301 Tamworth Road, Sutton Coldfield B75 6JP, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from River Anker, at National Grid Refs SK 2637 0353 and SK 2642 0398, at Bramcote Hall Farm, Warton, Staffordshire B79 0HH. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 100 cubic metres per hour, 1,000 cubic metres per day and 50,000 cubic metres per year, between May and September each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Bramcote Hall Farm, Warton, Staffordshire, between 11 February 2005 and 12 March 2005. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sentinel House, Wellington Crescent, Fradley Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS13 8RR, before the end of the said period.
