THE BARNET (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (1997, NO 53) (AMENDMENT NO ) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet proposes to
make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 and all other enabling powers.
The general effect of the Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions at the
junction of Brookland Rise and Brookland Hill operating Monday to Friday, 8.00 am
to 9.30 am and 2.45 pm to 4.15 pm. The Order also amends waiting restrictions at the
junction of Stream Lane and Penshurst Gardens which would operate “At any Time”. The
new and amended waiting restrictions are set out in the Schedule below. These waiting
restrictions will ensure the free passage of vehicles and maintain junction safety.
A copy of the proposed Order, plans of the relevant areas and the Council’s statement
of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00
pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) inclusive for a period of 21 days
from the date on which this notice is published at:
(a) Parking Design Team, North London Business Park, Building 4, Oakleigh Road South,
London N11 1NP; and
(b) Information Centre, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement
explaining their objection to the Parking Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, North
London Business Park, Building 4, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP, within 21 days
of the date of this notice.
