STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS AT MOSS SIDE IN THE CITY OF MANCHESTER

The Secretary of State for Transport gives notice that on the application of Bernard Taylor Partnership Ltd, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled The Stopping-up of Highways (City of Manchester) (No 1) Order 2005, authorising the stopping-up of a length of Wheeldon Street and highway to the rear of Wheeldon Street, Moss Side, Manchester. This stopping-up Order is permanent and has been authorised to allow the development described in the planning permission granted to Mosscare Housing Ltd by Manchester City Council on 9 September 2004 under Ref 072524/MO/2004/S1. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the North West (Transport and Planning), City Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE (quoting Ref GO/TNW 5082/35/1/126). It may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Manchester City Council, Town Hall, Albert Square, Manchester. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 4 February 2005, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
