THE GREENWICH (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (AMENDMENT NO   ) ORDER 200 

1. Notice is hereby given that Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to further amend the Greenwich (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) Order 1994 so as to designate disabled persons parking place, specified in the Schedule to this notice, in which vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons badge may be left. 3. Persons having a query concerning the proposals should contact Greenwich Strategic Planning on 020-8921 6024. 4. A copy of the proposed Order, the Order being amended and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, together with plans showing the locations and effects of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, at Greenwich Strategic Planning, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich, London SE18 6HQ. Copies of the proposed Order can be inspected at all local libraries. 5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order or make other representation should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Council’s Agents, TMO Services, 4 Snell Gardens, Herne Bay, Kent CT6 7SU, quoting Ref LBG/2235, to arrive by 23 February 2005. 6. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
