THE M1 MOTORWAY (MARKHAM ROAD AND ERIN ROAD, STAVELEY, DERBYSHIRE) CONNECTING ROADS SCHEME 2004

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made the following Scheme. A Scheme under sections 16,17 and 19 of the Highways Act 1980 which will provide a new junction between 29 and 30 of the M1 in Derbyshire, and will be known as junction 29A of the M1. Copies of the Scheme and the plans referred to in it have been deposited and may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at the offices of the Highways Agency, Traffic Operations Directorate, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL; and at Chesterfield Borough Council, Town Hall, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S40 1LP; North East Derbyshire District Council, Council House, Saltergate, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S40 1LF; Bolsover District Council, Sherwood Lodge, Bolsover, Derbyshire S44 6NF; Bolsover Library, Church Street, Bolsover, Derbyshire S44 6HB; and Staveley Library, Hall Lane, Staveley, Derbyshire S43 3TP. Copies of the Scheme can be purchased through booksellers or direct from government bookshops (The Stationery Office). It is numbered SI 2004/3058 and is priced at £3.00. Any person aggrieved by the Scheme mentioned in this notice who desires to question its validity, or the validity of any provision in it, on the ground that: (a) it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, or (b) any requirement of that Act or of Regulations made under that Act has not been complied with in relation to that Scheme may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice.
