THE CAMDEN (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (SPA) (AMENDMENT NO 131) ORDER 2004
THE CAMDEN (PARKING PLACES) (CA-J) (AMENDMENT NO 13) TRAFFIC ORDER 2004
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden, on 6 December
2004, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and
Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the
Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, the details as previously
published in The London Gazette on 22 October 2004, under Ref 106.
The general nature and effect of the Orders will be:
(i) to increase the operational times of the single yellow line waiting restrictions
to 8.30 am to 6.30 pm, Mondays to Fridays and shared-use (Camden/Westminster) residents’
parking places in those lengths of Prince Albert Road, Ormonde Terrace, St Edmund’s
Terrace, Avenue Road, Norfolk Road, Woronzow Road, Queen’s Grove, St. John’s Wood
Park and Boundary Road;
(ii) to introduce an additional four new shared-use (Camden/Westminster) residents’
parking places in St Edmund’s Terrace;
(iii) to introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions on the south-west side outside
Nos 17 to 19 Pratt Street and corner with Bayham Street;
(iv) to introduce a 15 metre length of “at any time” waiting restrictions on the
north-east side opposite Nos 91 to 95 Bayham Street;
(v) to introduce additional double yellow lines in Camden Park Road on south-west
side from boundary of Nos 5 and 7 to the western kerbline of York Way and north-east
side from western kerbline of York Way and a point 3 metres south-east of the south-eastern
flank wall of No 11 Camden Park Road; and
(vi) to revoke existing loading restrictions in Leeke Street and Britannia Street.
A copy of the Orders which will come into force on 20 December 2004, together with
details/plan showing the location, may be inspected during normal office hours on
Monday to Fridays inclusive, at the Environment Department Reception, fifth floor,
Town Hall, Argyle Street, London WC1H 8EQ.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained
therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations
made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6
weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
