NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Malcolm Young, of The Royal Festival Hall, South Bank Centre, London SE1 8XX is applying to the Environmental Agency for a licence to abstract water from Chalk Strata Below London at National Grid Ref TQ 3086 8023, below access road beside The Royal Festival Hall, South Bank, London SE1. The Proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 85 cubic metres per hour, 825 cubic metres per day and 132,000 cubic metres per year. The Water will be used for environmentally aware cooling system for the Royal Festival Hall. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at The Artists’ Entrance of the Royal Festival Hall, South Bank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1 8XX between Wednesday 22 December 2004 and Saturday 22 January 2005 (exluding 25 December 2004). Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Water Resources Team Thames Region, South East Area, Swift House, Frimley Business Park, Frimley, Camberley, Surrey GU16 7SQ before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
