LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL SPALDING TO EYE (A1073 CLASSIFIED ROAD) (NO 2) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2004
COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND AND NEW RIGHTS IN THE COUNTY OF LINCOLNSHIRE
Notice is hereby given that Lincolnshire County Council has made the Lincolnshire County Council Spalding to Eye (A1073 Classified Road) (No 2) Compulsory Purchase Order 2004, under sections 239, 240 and 250 of the Highways Act 1980. It is about to submit this Order to the office of the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise Lincolnshire County Council to purchase compulsorily the land and new rights described below for the purposes of: 1. The improvement of Carrington’s Drove and Moulton Chapel Road in pursuance of the Lincolnshire County Council Spalding to Eye (A1073 Classified Road) (No 2) Side Roads and Other Works Order 2004. 2. The provision of a new means of access to land in pursuance of the Lincolnshire County Council Spalding to Eye (A1073 Classified Road) (No 2) Side Roads and Other Works Orders 2004. A copy of the Order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the offices of the acquiring authority Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln LN1 1YP, and also at South Holland District Council Offices, Priory Road, Spalding, Lincolnshire PE11 2XE. Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Transport, Government Office for the North East, Local Authority Orders Section, Wellbar House, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4TD, before 14 January 2005, and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land. Description of land and the new rights The Order Land is situated in the District of South Holland in the county of Lincolnshire and comprises arable land adjoining both sides of Carrington’s Drove east of Peterborough Road and west of the Poultry Farm off Carrington’s Drove together with other arable land south off Moulton Chapel Road (B1357) adjoining Wheat Mere Drain south to land with Field Ref OS9278. It also includes rights to construct and maintain a culvert and access track over part of Wheat Mere Drain off Moulton Chapel Road together with the right to cross the track to adjoining land.
