NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS FOR ROAD PURPOSES

1. Three months’ advance notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council intends to carry out substantial road works for road purposes. 2. The street in which these works will take place is A514 Swadlincote Road, Woodville. 3. Works are expected to affect the carriageway/footway/footpath/verge between Woodhouse Street and Frederick Street. 4. Work is expected to commence on 7 February 2005. 5. The works will include the following: carriageway and footway resurfacing. 6. Subject to exemptions in the Act and the regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from the completion of the works described in paragraph 5 without the consent of the said highway authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
