1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 20th October 2004 the above-mentioned Orders (“the Orders”) under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. 2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make permanent the provisions of The Barnet (North Finchley) (On-Street Parking Places) (No 2) (Experimental) Traffic Order 2003, The Barnet (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (2000, No 17) (Experimental) (Amendment No 9) Traffic Order 2003, The Barnet (Goods Vehicles) (Loading Places) (Experimental) (No 3) Traffic Order 2003, The Barnet (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (1997, No 53) (Experimental Amendment No 56) Traffic Order 2003, The Barnet (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (1997, No 53) (Experimental Amendment No 60) Traffic Order 2003 and The Barnet (Motorcycle Parking Places) (Experimental) (No 1) Traffic Order 2003. These experimental Orders introduced on an experimental basis, the all day controlled parking zone in North Finchley. The roads affected by the Orders are shown in the Schedule to this notice. 3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on Monday 25 October 2004, a plan of the scheme and the Council’s statements of reasons for making the Orders can be inspected on Mondays to Fridays inclusive between 9am and 5pm (Bank Holidays excluded) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP. (b) The Information Centre, The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, NW4 4BG. 4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
