THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000

Kawneer U.K. Limited has applied for a permit from Halton Borough Council to operate a surface treatment and powder paint facility within their manufacturing plant located on the Astmoor Industrial Estate, Astmoor, Runcorn, Cheshire. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. A copy of the application is available for the public to view, free of charge, at the Environment and Development Directorate, Grosvenor House, Halton Lea, Runcorn, Cheshire WA7 2GW. Written representations about the application may be sent to the Environment and Development Directorate, Grosvenor House, Halton Lea, Runcorn, Cheshire WA7 2GW, within 28 days of 10 August 2004.
