STOPPING-UP OF A LENGTH OF HIGHWAY (INCLUDING FOOTWAY), AT PARK LANE, NEAR ST MICHAEL’S HILL, CITY CENTRE, BRISTOL
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (City of Bristol) (No SW5) Order 2004”, authorising the stopping-up of a length of highway (including footway) at Park Lane, near St Michael’s Hill, City Centre, Bristol, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West, The Planning Team, 1st Floor, 2 Rivergate, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6EH (tel: 0117 900 1896)—quoting Ref SW/THM/8247/190 and/or may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Planning Services, Ground Floor, Bristol City Council, Brunel House, St George’s Road, Bristol BS1 5UY. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 30 July 2004, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
