HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (B1110: GUIST BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION) (CLASSIFIED ROAD) (SIDE ROADS) 2003
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has confirmed with
modifications the above Order which was made by Norfolk County Council under section
14 of the Highways Act 1980 and which, as confirmed, authorises the Council to construct
a temporary footpath (on footbridge over the River Wensum) in relation to the B1110
Bridge Road classified road which the Council propose to improve at, and including
the reconstruction of, Guist Bridge in the Parish of Guist in the District of Breckland.
Copies of the above-mentioned Order and of the plan referred to therein have been
deposited and may be seen at all reasonable hours, free of charge, at the offices
of Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich and Breckland District
Council, Elizabeth House, Walpole Loke, Dereham.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof,
or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers
of the Highways Act 1980 or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or of any
regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may,
within 6 weeks of 22 June 2004, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing
of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
