COSHESTON CONSERVATION AREA
Notice is given under the provisions of the 1990 Act that Pembrokeshire County Council has determined that the area described in the Schedule to this notice is an area of special architectural or historic interest, and it is desirable to preserve or enhance its character or appearance. Schedule The area to be included within the Conservation Area is described as follows: The southern boundary is defined by the point where the road begins to narrow about 150 metres south of Cosheston Bridge. Following the Conservation Area boundary in an anticlockwise direction, this continues northwards along the eastern verge of the road for a distance of about 400 metres before turning right to follow the field boundary for 50 metres. The Conservation Area boundary then turns north, then east following the field boundaries, crossing East Lane and continuing past Mission Hall until reaching the most easterly point turning north along the eastern boundary of Pump House to join, the eastern verge of Woodfield Grove at its most northerly point. The Conservation Area boundary then turns west following field and property boundaries parallel with The Cross and Point Lane until it reaches the western most boundary point about 140 metres beyond the entrance to St Michaels Church. The Conservation Area boundary then turns south for about 30 metres before turning east to follow field and property boundaries across West Lane to a point where the field boundary runs approximately 45 metres parallel to the western side of the main road. The Conservation Area boundary turns south and follows this field boundary, turning west to follow the estuary until a point about 32 metres beyond West Lane where it crosses the estuary to a point aligning with the rear boundary of Bridgend House before rejoining the starting point.
