NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that South East Water Plc, of 3 Church Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex RH16 3NY, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial no 28/39/30/76, which authorises the abstraction of water from the lower Greensand underground strata at National Grid Ref SU 8159 3865, at Headley Park Pumping Station, Picketts Hill, Headley, Bordon, Hampshire GU35 8TE. The variation being applied for is to add a new abstration point in order to re-establish the abstraction capacity of the source. No variation of the licenced quantities is sought. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at South East Water, Bordon Depot, Bordon, Hampshire GU35 0HA, between 12 April 2004 and 12 May 2004. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Team Leader, WR Regulation, Environment Agency, Isis House, Howbery Park, Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 8BD, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
