NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Kedassia Poultry Ltd, of Lanmor House, 370-386 High Road, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 6AX, are applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from underground strata (upper chalk), at National Grid Ref TQ 3730 8420, at 3 Smeed Road, London E3. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 19 cubic metres per hour, 190 cubic metres per day and 30,000 cubic metres per year, all year. The water will be used for chicken processing factory. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Reception, 3 Smeed Road, London E3, between 8 March 2004 and 8 April 2004. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Team Leader, Water Resources, Thames Region, North East Area, Apollo Court, 2 Bishop Square Business Park, St Albans Road West, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 9EX, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
