THE DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (A380 HALDON CHALETS JUNCTION IMPROVEMENT, CLASSIFIED ROAD) (SIDE ROADS) ORDER 2004

The Devon County Council hereby give notice that they have made, and submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, an Order under sections 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the Council to: (a) improve highways (including raising, lowering or otherwise altering); (b) stop up highways; (c) construct new highways; (d) stop up private means of access to premises; and (e) provide new means of access to said premises all in the vicinity of the route of the classified road known as the A380 Exeter to Torquay road which the Council are proposing to improve at its junction with the C19 Haldon Racecourse to Mamhead road at Haldon Chalets. Copies of the Order and of the relevant plans, may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours from 3 February 2004 at: 1. Main Reception of Devon Country Council, County Hall, Exeter; 2. Local Service Office (Newton Abbot), County Environment Directorate, Devon County Council, Devon House, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot; or 3. Kennford Post Office. Any person may, not later than 19 March 2004 object to the confirmation of the Order by notice to the Secretary of State for Transport, Government Office for the North East, Local Authority Orders Section, Wellbar House, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4TD stating the grounds of their objection.  (Ref GML/A 15768.)
