NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A NEW ABSTRACTION
LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that M and R Taylor of Carlisle Farm, Main Drove, Little Downham, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6 2ER, are applying to the Environment Agency for a Licence to abstract water which will authorise the abstraction of water from the main drains and dykes between and within National Grid Refs TL 5295 8498 and TL 5289 8497; TL 5330 8722 and TL 5320 8712; TL 5261 8712 and TL 5252 8703; TL 5251 8760 and TL 5262 8771; TL 5228 8738 and TL 5241 8750; TL 5226 8791 and TL 5263 8781; TL 5219 8794 and TL 5227 8807; TL 5172 8774 and TL 5175 8766; At Grunty Fen Drain, Fodder Fen Drain, Fifth and Sixth Droves, Abrahams Drain, Hope Farm, Carlisle Farm, at Fodder Fen, Little Downham, Ely, in the county of Cambridgeshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 45.5 cubic metres per hour, 454.6 cubic metres per day, 9,100 cubic metres per year between 1 April and 30 September each year. This licence will replace Licence 6/33/26/S326 which expired on 30 September 2003. A copy of the application and of any map, plans or other document submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at Carlisle Farm, Main Drove, Little Downham, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6 2ER, at all reasonable hours during the period 24 January 2004 until 24 February 2004.
