NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO OBSTRUCT OR IMPEDE THE FLOW OF AN INLAND WATER BY MEANS OF IMPOUNDING WORKS
Take notice that Mr J Clark, of Deans Place, Yatton, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire HR9
7RB, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to obstruct or impede the
flow of piped discharge from an un-named tributary of the River Leadon at National
Grid Ref SO 6332 3148, at Deans Place, Yatton, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
Water will be impounded by means of an earth dam and the object of the impounding
works is to create a conservation pool. The capacity of the pool at overflow level
will be 2,100 cubic metres.

Take notice that Mr J Clark, of Deans Place, Yatton, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire HR9
7RB, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from an
un-named stream via a conservation pool at National Grid Ref SO 6338 3143, at Deans
Place, Yatton, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
The proposal is to abstract water between 1 November and 31 March each year at the
following rates: maximum 75 cubic metres per hour, maximum 1,800 cubic metres per
day, 36,400 cubic metres per year.
The water will be used for winter storage and subsequent spray irrigation purposes.
A copy of the application forms and any map, plans and other documents submitted
with them may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Deans Place,
Yatton, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire HR9 7RB, between 9 January 2004 and 9 February
2004.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so
in writing to the Environment Agency, River Meet House, New Town Industrial Estate,
North Way Lane, Tewkesbury, Gloucester GL20 8JG, before the end of the said period,
quoting the name of the applicant.
