Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley, on 6 January 2004, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991, which will come into operation on 22 January 2004. The effect of the Orders would be: (a) to amend the Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 so that waiting by vehicles would be restricted as specified in the Schedule to this notice; (b) to introduce short term parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice. A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
