STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS—GRENFELL STREET/WIDNES ROAD, WIDNES

Notice is given that application will be made to the Halton Magistrates sitting at the Halton Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Halton Lea, Runcorn, on Wednesday 14 January 2004, at 2.00 pm, for an Order that the lengths of highways within the Borough of Halton described in the Schedule below be stopped up under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, and that the plan associated with the applications may be inspected, during normal office hours, at Halton Direct Link, Halton Lea, Runcorn. J Tradewell, Council Solicitor Municipal Building, Kingsway, Widnes, Cheshire WA8 7QF. Schedule Grenfell Street, Widnes, be stopped up from its junction with Widnes Road (from the back of the footway on Widnes Road), for a maximum length of 21 metres to the north of the car park entrance and for a width of 7 metres from the western boundary of 124 Widnes Road. Rear Passage to 124-132 Widnes Road, Widnes, be stopped up for a length of approximately 42 metres and a width of approximately 2 metres. 4 December 2003
