NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Ashmarden Limited, of Basing Park, Privett Alton, Hampshire, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Serial No 10/41/531319 which authorises the abstraction of water from water courses at Merston, Chichester at National Grid Refs (a) SU 8884 0360, (b) SU 8951 0280 and (c) SU 8924 0189, at Merston, Chichester. The variation being applied for is to vary the abstraction points and to include additional land to which water can be used. No changes are being made to the quantity to be abstracted either annually or daily. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Henry Adam & Partners, Rowan House, Baffin Lane, Chichester, between 3 December 2003 and 3 January 2004. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Guildbourne House, Worthing, West Sussex, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
