THE SUTTON CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 47 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The principal objectives of the measures are to improve conditions for local residents or businesses in the local area. 3. The general effect of The Sutton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No  ) (Amendment No  ) Order 200 will be to introduce waiting restrictions “no waiting at any time” for the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. [Order Ref WL425]. 4. The general effect of The Sutton (On-Street Parking Places) (Sutton Controlled Parking Zone) (No  ) (Amendment No ) Order 200 will be to: (a) remove 1 pay and display bay in Robin Hood Lane; (b) relocate 1 motorcycle bay in Throwley Road; (c) redefine and relocate permit parking bays in Clarence Road; (d) add 1 permit/pay and display parking bay in Hallmead Road; (e) add 2 permit/pay and display parking bays in Cadogan Court; (f) add 2 permit/pay and display and 1 permit parking bays in St James Road; and (g) add 4 permit parking bays in Lewis Road. [Order Ref PP426]. 5. The general effect of The Sutton (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (No  ) (Amendment No  ) Order 200 will be to add 1 disabled bay in Throwley Road in which waiting is limited to 3 hours with no return within 2 hours. [Order Ref DS427]. 6. Full details of the proposals are contained in the following documents: (a) the draft Orders; (b) a set of plans indicating the location and effect of the Orders; and (c) the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders.
