VARIOUS AMENDMENTS TO THE CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE—ALLEN STREET, ANSDELL STREET, BASING STREET, BURNABY STREET, CAMPDEN GROVE, CHELSEA BRIDGE ROAD, CHELSEA SQUARE, CLAREVILLE STREET, COLHERNE ROAD, DRAYCOTT TERRACE, EGERTON PLACE, EGERTON TERRACE, GLOUCESTER ROAD, KENSINGTON COURT, LINDEN GARDENS, PALACE GATE, PEMBRIDGE CRESCENT, REDCLIFFE STREET, ROYAL CRESCENT MEWS, ST MARK’S ROAD AND SUTTON WAY
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be, in— (1) Allen Street, to relocate an existing Motorcycle parking place, and to revoke and re-designate over different areas, two Residents’ parking places; (2) Ansdell Street, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (3) Basing Street, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (4) Burnaby Street, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (5) Campden Grove, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions, and to revoke an existing Residents’ parking place and re-designate it as two parking places; (6) Chelsea Bridge Road, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (7) Chelsea Square, to revoke an existing Diplomatic parking place that is no longer required and designate that area as a Residents’ parking place; (8) Clareville Street, to revoke an existing Pay & Display parking place and re-designate it over a smaller area, and to desigate a new Diplomatic parking place ; (9) Colherne Road, to revoke an existing Pay & Display parking place and designate over the same area, a new Residents’ parking place; (10) Draycott Terrace, to revoke an existing Pay & Display parking place and designate a new Residents’ parking place over the same area, and to revoke and re-designate over a smaller area, an existing Residents’ parking place; (11) Egerton Place, to revoke an existing Pay & Display parking place and designate over the same area, a new Residents’ parking place; (12) Egerton Terrace, to revoke an existing Pay & Display parking place and designate over the same area, a new Residents’ parking place, to revoke and re-designate as two separate parking places, an existing Residents’ parking place, and to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (13) Gloucester Road, to relocate an existing Bus Stop and convert it to a 24-hour Bus Stop Clearway; (14) Kensington Court, to introduce new “At any Time” waiting restrictions; (15) Linden Gardens, to introduce a new Motorcycle parking place; (16) Palace Gate, to revoke and redesignate over a smaller area, an existing Pay & Display parking place and to designate a new Residents’ parking place; (17) Pembridge Crescent, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (18) Redcliffe Street, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (19) Royal Crescent Mews, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions; (20) St Mark’s Road, to revoke and re-designate over a smaller area, an existing Pay & Display parking place, and to revoke and re-designate over a greater area, a Resident’s parking place; and (21) Sutton Way, to introduce new “At any time” waiting restrictions. 3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be inspected at the Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. 4. Persons desiring to object to any of the proposed Orders, or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council’s agents in this matter, the Project Centre, Saffron Court, 14 b St Cross Street, London EC1N 8XA, quoting Ref PCL/PARKING/TMO/RDH by 7 November 2003. 5. Under the Local Government (Access to information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
