APPLICATION FOR PERMIT

Jaguar Cars Ltd has applied for a permit from Birmingham City Council to operate a process for the surface treatment and coating of motor vehicle bodies at Chester Road, Castle Vale, Birmingham B35 7RA. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. A copy of the application is available for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours, at Environmental Services Consumer Centre, 155-157 Corporation Street, Birmingham B4 6PH. Written representations about the application may be sent to the Environmental Services Department, Environmental Protection Unit, PO Box 5248, at the above address within 28 days of 4 Setember 2003. All representations will be placed on the public register unless a representation contains a written request to the contrary. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
