THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (FREE PARKING PLACE) (DISABLED PASSENGERS) (PERMIT PARKING PLACES) (NO 9) ORDER 2003
OLIPHANT STREET
1. Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 10 September 2003 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9, to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to: (a) shorten and divide into two a certain residents’ parking place in Oliphant Street to provide a disabled passenger’s permit parking place; (b) in respect of the residents’ parking places, the classes of vehicles for which they will be available, the hours during which they will operate and all the time limits during which the vehicles may be left in the parking places will remain unchanged. 3. The general effect of the Disabled Passengers’ Parking Place Order will be to provide a disabled person’s personal permit parking place in Oliphant Street which will be available for the use of vehicles which display a Westminster disabled permit issued in respect of that parking place without charge or time limit. 4. The Orders will come into force for the purpose of placing of traffic signs, etc on 12 September 2003 and into force for all other purposes on 15 September 2003. 5. The Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Parkman Ltd, Third Floor, Mountbarrow House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9RB, until 29 October 2003. 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to either of the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 29 October 2003.
