MIDDLESEX STREET/NEW STREET—POLICE PARKING BAYS AND RELOCATION OF DISABLED PERSONS’ BAYS
FINSBURY CIRCUS—ALTERATION TO THE POSITION OF DOCTORS’ BAYS AND DISABLED PERSONS BAYS

1. Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of the City of London, on 5 September 2003, made Orders under sections 6 and 45 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The effect of the Orders will be to: (a) designate a parking place consisting of three bays on the north side of Middlesex Street and to designate a parking place consisting of two bays on the south side of New Street. The bays will be available for police purposes only throughout the week; (b) relocate a disabled persons’ parking place in New Street by converting two metered parking bays in Middlesex Street; (c) exchange the position of two doctors’ parking bays in the eastern arm of Finsbury Circus with two disabled persons’ bays in the Rotunda of Finsbury Circus. 3. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into operation on 15 September 2003, and of a plan showing the affected streets can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in the Department of Planning and Transportation, Guildhall, London EC2P 2EJ. 4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the above address or by telephoning 020 7332 1108. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it not within the powers of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
