PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

The Company known as Medway Galvanising Company Limited, Units 9a, b and c, Castle Road, Eurolink Industrial Centre, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 3RN, has applied to Swale Borough Council for a permit to operate an installation containing a hot dip galvanising process with a production capacity of more than 2.5 tonnes per hour and a polyester powder coating process with a production capacity of over 500 kilos per hour at the above address. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. The application has been placed on the public register held at Swale Borough Council, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 3HT, and can be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours. Any written comments on the application should be made to the Swale Borough Council address within 28 days from the date of this advertisement. Any written comments will be placed on the public register unless they include a statement requesting that this is not done. If there is such a request, the register itself will just include a note that representations have been made which are not on the register because of such a request.
