PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000 INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Brock Plc has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving disposal of waste by landfill. The installation is located at Eardswick Hall, Minshull Vernon, Crewe in the borough of Crewe and Nantwich, in the county of Cheshire.
The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.
Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Eardswick Hall Landfill Site is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Birchwood, Warrington WA3 7WD; and Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, Cheshire CW1 2BJ. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, Members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.
Any representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice: The Environment Agency, Strategic Permitting Group, Richard Fairclough House, Knutsford Road, Latchford, Warrington, Cheshire WA4 1HG.
Any such representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
