THE BARNET (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (1997, NO 53) (AMENDMENT NO  ) TRAFFIC ORDER 2003

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of, Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. This Order amends existing waiting restrictions and introduces new waiting and loading restrictions in various roads as shown in the Schedules below. These waiting and loading restrictions will ensure the free passage of vehicles, protect vehicle accesses and maintain junction safety. A copy of the proposed Order, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ; and (b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the London Borough of Barnet (Traffic Section) on 020-8359 4331. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection to the Traffic Section, London Borough of Barnet, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ, within 21 days of the date of this notice. Barnet Road : (a) north-west side, from a point opposite the north-eastern kerbline of Winifred Close north-eastwards to a point 20 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Barnet Gate Lane At any time
(b) south-east side, from the north-eastern kerbline of Winifred Close north-eastwards to a point 20 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Barnet Gate Lane At any time
Hendon Wood Lane, both sides, from its junction with Barnet Road south-eastwards for a distance of 22 metres At any time
Barnet Gate Lane, both sides, from its junction with Barnet Road south-eastwards to a point opposite the north-western boundary of High Point, Barnet Gate Lane At any time
Eversleigh Road, south-west side, from its junction with Nether Street north-westwards for a distance of 10 metres Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 6.30 pm
