ASHTON RECREATION GROUND ACCESS ROAD—WAITING RESTRICTIONS
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to further amend the London Borough of Redbridge (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1993, so as to impose waiting restrictions operative “at any time ” on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 1 to this notice. Details of exemptions from the restrictions for certain vehicles and persons, together with restrictions on selling or advertising in a restricted street are contained in the original Order of 1993. 3. The general effect of the Parking Places Order would be to further amend the London Borough of Redbridge (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) Order 1993 so as to designate three disabled persons parking places, on the length of street specified in Schedule 2 to this notice, in which vehicles displaying a disabled persons badge in the relevant position, may be left for a maximum period of 4 hours at any time throughout the week without charge. 4. Copies of the Orders, of the Orders being amended, together with plans of the area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders may be inspected between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NN. 5. Any person wishing to object or make representations on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection or representations and the grounds thereof, to the Chief Engineering and Building Services Officer, London Borough of Redbridge, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NN, quoting Ref LBR/10, by no later than 26 June 2003.
