NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS FOR ROAD PURPOSES

1. Three months’ advance notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes. 2. The street in which these works will take place is West Street/Church Street, Riddings. 3. Works are expected to affect the carriageway from West Street/Church Street (Greenhill Lane to Iveagh Walk). 4. Works are expected to commence on 4 August 2003. 5. The works notified will include carriageway resurfacing. 6. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from the completion of the works described in Paragraph 5 without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
