NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF REVISED PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A REVISED LOCAL PLAN
BRAINTREE DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN REVIEW
REVISED DEPOSIT PLAN MAY 2003

Braintree District Council have revised the proposals for the replacement of the above plan. If, and when, this revised plan is adopted, it will form part of the development plan for the area of Braintree. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the revised plan are available for public inspection, free of charge, from 15 May to 26 June 2003 at:

The following District Council Offices:
Planning Reception, Causeway House, Braintree;
Halstead Area Office, Trinity Street, Halstead;
Witham Area Office, Freebournes Court, Newland Street, Witham;
free of charge on Mondays to Thursdays, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, and to 5.00 pm on Fridays;
and at Public Libraries throughout Braintree District during normal opening hours.

Objections to, and representations in respect of, the revised plan, should be sent in writing to Peter Crofts, Head of Planning Services, Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Braintree, Essex, CM7 9HB, before 27 June 2003. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Objections may only be made in respect of those parts of the plan which have been revised since the original plan was made available on 10 January 2002.
Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 26 June 2003 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.
