NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Blue Keld Springs Ltd, Throstle Nest, Watton Carrs, of Driffield, East Yorkshire YO25 9RE, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Blue Keld Spring at National Grif Ref TA 0417 5003 at Throstle Nest Farm, Watton Carrs, Cranswick, Driffield. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 30 cubic metres per hour, 150 cubic metres per day, 30,000 cubic metres per year, each year. The water will be used for commercial bottling on granting this licence, the existing licence due to expire on 31 December 2003 will be revoked. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Throstle Nest, Watton Carrs, between 2 May 2003 and 1st June 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, North East Ridings Area, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, before the end of the said period.
