STOPPING-UP OF A LENGTH OF HIGHWAY ADJACENT TO THE TOM GALLAGHER VAN CENTRE, AT THE A4361, BROAD HINTON, NEAR SWINDON, WILTSHIRE

The Secretary of State for Transport, hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Wiltshire) (No SW2) Order 2003” authorising the stopping-up of a length of highway adjacent to the Tom Gallgaher Van Centre, at the A4361, Broad Hinton, near Swindon, Wiltshire, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West, Planning & Transport Decisions Team, 1st Floor, 2 Rivergate, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6ED, (quoting reference SW/THM/8247/125) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Broad Hinton Post Office, Broad Hinton, near Swindon. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 24 April 2003 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
