The Secretary of State hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-Up of Highways (County of Northamptonshire) (No 2) Order 2003” authorising the stopping up of a length of highway at the northern end of Boyle Road, Corby, Northamptonshire, measuring 30 metres in length.
The stopping-up is authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Briggs (UK) Ltd by Corby Borough Council on 24 April 2001, under Ref 01/00086/DPA.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, by applying to the Government Office for the East Midlands, Transport, The Belgrave Centre, Stanley Place, Talbot Street, Nottingham NG1 5GG (quoting Ref No EMCM 506735/1/137) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of the Corby Borough Council, Grosvenor House, George Street, Corby, Northamptonshire.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 26 March 2003, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
