The London Borough of Tower Hamlets hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping-up of a part of the footway of Tapp Street, London E1. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Watkins Gray International on 12 October 2001, under Ref PA/01/01261. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 17 March 2003, at the offices of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Highways Planning and Safety, Southern Grove, London E3 4PN, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the above office (quoting Ref 20.04/404-03/2003). Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within a period of 28 days commencing on 17 March 2003, by notice to the Service Head - Street Services, quoting the above reference, at 60 Southern Grove, London E3 4PN. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it. It is shown edged black on the plan and is a retangular shaped part of the western footway of Tapp Street, London E2. The area for stopping-up is sited on the highway outside the new main school entrance doors. The stopping-up is to enable able and disabled access to the school premises.
