NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is given, as required by Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991, that the following application has been made to the Environment Agency, South West Region. Mr D Chandler has applied for Consent to Discharge from Trethias Farm, Caravan Park, at Treyarnon Bay, St Merryn, Padstow. The discharge arises from the existing caravan site at Trethias Farm. At present, the effluent from the caravan site is discharged into a sepetic tank and soakaway system. It is now proposed to replace the septic tank with a sewage treatment plant which would discharge via a partial soakaway to a tributary of the stream leading to Treyarnon Bay.
