NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Gordon William Dale of 42 March Road, Coates, Peterborough PE7 2BW, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Whittlesey Dyke at National Grid Ref TL 293 955, drains in the area of the Whittlesey Internal Drainage Board between TL 303 964 and TL 305 961, TL 309 968 and TL 310 969, TL 309 968 and TL 312 969, TL 312 969 and TL 313 966, TL 310 964 and TL 311 962, TL 316 971 and TL 318 973, TL 318 973 and TL 320 969, TL 320 969 and TL 318 968, at TL 291 958, TL 304 965, TL 307 967, TL 307 970, TL 313 970, Whittlesey parish, and drains in the area of the Ransonmoor District Drainage Commissioners at Copalder Farm, Doddington parish, Cambridgeshire. The proposal is to abstract water at 68.2 cubic metres per hour, 682 cubic metres per day and up to 12,727 cubic metres between April and September each year for spray irrigation purposes. The application is to renew the licence serial number 6/33/53/S/591 which is due to expire on 30 September 2003 without change to the abstraction quantities.
A copy of the application and any map, plan or other document submitted with it may be inpsected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at 42 March Road, Coates between 15 March 2003 and 12 April 2003.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE28 4NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
